Founding Director, Janice is a MFA graduate of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, an instructor at the Hearst Center for the Arts, and adjunct instructor at Hawkeye College. Janice has created and managed artist projects, worked as an arts facilitator, taught creative workshops for children, and has her photographs published in V Magazine. She is an interdisciplinary artist, working within the mediums of installation, photography, drawing, and digital video collage.
Assistant Director, James is a BFA graduate of The University of Northern Iowa. James is an Iowa native and painter. His painting work focuses on architectural abstraction and color theory. James currently resides in Cedar Falls, Iowa painting and moonlighting as a Chef.
Editor and Communications Specialist, Beth Weidenbacher is a Communication Studies graduate from The University of Northern Iowa. She is currently a member of The Carbon Table team, a wife and mom, and actively engaged in mentoring college women. Her most valued aspect of communication is bringing clarity from the chaos, finding the greatest satisfaction in editing work. In addition to editing, her work experience includes technical writing, SEO advertising research, thesis research and presentation, newsletter content, and workshops.
Visual Designer, Megan Borseth holds a B.A. in Studio Art, with a focus in Printmaking, and minor in Graphic Technology from the University of Northern Iowa. She is a printmaker and graphic designer, whose artwork addresses the perpetuation of gender based violence, and historical silencing of women. In addition to assisting with Carbon Table projects and workshops, she has interned at the Women’s Studio Workshop in New York, where she managed the silk-screen studio, assisted resident artists, and printed and exhibited a series of woodcuts. Megan currently works as a graphic designer and maintains a studio practice in Iowa City.
